Challenge Manager User Guide

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for challenge manager use of Challenge.Gov. Navigate through the right side menu to select an area to learn more.

Direct Solvers to External Website

By default Challenge.Gov facilitates collection of submissions via the platform. Deactivate the Manage Submissions via Challenge.Gov functionality, and provide a link directing potential solvers to an external challenge website for additional information and submission instructions.

  1. From the Challenge Manager Dashboard, click Challenge Management.
  2. Click View for the draft challenge you wish to edit which takes you to the Challenge Info page for that Challenge.
  3. Click Edit to the right of the How to Enter section which opens the challenge builder.
  4. Enter the full URL for your challenge site into the External Submission Site - Enter external website link (optional) field.
  5. Click Save at the bottom of the page.
